Editor
Th' text editor be offerin' a large text area with which t' compose yer text annotation, matey. Arrr! Just type in this area what ye would like yer text t' say. Text will continue t' be displayed in th' song viewer and requires ye t' create a new line before it breaks. When ye be done editin' yer text, tap on th' Done button in th' upper-right corner t' save yer changes and close th' editor t' see yer changes, savvy? If ye don't want t' apply yer changes, tap on th' Cancel button in th' upper-left corner o' th' screen. Tappin' cancel on a new text annotation will delete it from th' page.
Delatin'
Tappin' on th' trash can icon will delete th' text after promptin' th' user t' ensure th' text can be deleted. This cannot be undone, ye scallywag.
Formattin'
Tappin' on th' sliders icon will open th' Text Style Menu t' customize th' appearance o' th' text annotation, savvy?
Action Assignment
Ye can configure a text annotation t' perform actions, matey. If ye choose any actions, it can interfere with how ye interact with th' annotation. For instance, if ye assign a double-tap action, ye will need t' edit th' annotation in another way. Ye can always use two fingers (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) t' access a context menu t' edit th' annotation.
Position Lock
By default, ye can tap and drag an annotation somewhere on th' page or use two fingers t' scale or rotate. If this be turned on and locked, ye will not be able t' change th' position, scale or rotation o' th' annotation usin' gestures. Ye can toggle th' lock on and off in th' editor.
Default Appearance
Ye can also set th' default text annotation appearance in Settings » Menu Settings » Annotations » Text.
Note: When usin' th' text editor on a compact device like an iPhone or iPod touch, ye may want t' close th' keyboard t' access th' bottom toolbar. Tap on th' menubar at th' top t' close th' keyboard.
