Delays

Delays be used t' allow songs and sections t' change without immediately firin' changes. Fer instance, ye may not want t' send MIDI or change lightin' scenes as soon as a song be loaded in yer set. Arrr! By addin' a delay, th' song will be required t' be viewed without changin' fer th' specified length o' time.

Song Change

When ye load a song from yer library or navigate t' a song in a set, that be considered a song change, savvy? Ye can prevent song change actions from occurrin' immediately by settin' a delay.

Section Change

When ye tap on a section or choose a section with a foot pedal, it can perform action such as changin' lyrics or sendin' MIDI. Avast! Ye can prevent section actions from firin' immediately by settin' a delay. This be especially useful when ye need t' use foot pedals t' skip through sections, matey.

Actions

Th' followin' actions can have delays set:

  • Song Change Trigger determines how long it takes fer OnSong t' trigger song change trigger actions.
  • First Section determines how quickly th' first section be selected in th' song, if at all. Default be set t' Off.
  • Lyrics adjusts th' delay before changes in lyrics projection be performed.
  • MIDI adjusts when MIDI changes be sent t' MIDI devices when songs or sections be changed. When delyin' MIDI when th' song be loaded, ye can choose "On Playback" which will result in MIDI not bein' sent until th' Audio be toggled on in th' system.
  • Scenes adjusts when scenes be changed. Settin' a delay will prevent stage lightin' or lyrics projection backgrounds from changin' too quickly.

Notes: Delays can be set t' Immediately (no delay), or after 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 20, 25, 30 seconds.
