Control Change

Control changes in MIDI be sent from pedals, knobs, 'n' sliders, 'n' be used t' control th' dynamics o' music. They can also be used fer general messagin' t' apps such as OnSong.

Type

T' setup a control change in th' MIDI editor, choose Control in th' type section, savvy?

Channel

Th' channel determines which MIDI channel th' control change be sent or received on. By default, OnSong will receive or send on all channels. Use th' plus 'n' minus buttons t' choose a specific channel if necessary, matey.

Ye can tap on th' name o' th' channel t' Edit Channel Name t' change it t' a custom value t' match yer equipment.

Control

Pick a control t' send or receive by tappin' on th' None option, Arrr! OnSong will display a list o' control values 0 through 127 with known controls named in th' list.

Ye can rename controls when pickin' them by tappin' on th' Edit button 'n' then tappin' on th' name o' th' control.

Value

When ye be sendin' a control change, ye can also choose th' value t' send from 0 t' 127. This can be adjusted with th' slider or by tappin' on th' value on th' left t' pick a new value from a list.

Latchin' On/Off

Toggle this switch t' switch between th' configured value 'n' zero each time th' action be sent, ye scallywag.
