ChordFlow™ PDF Transposition

ChordFlow™ be a new technology from OnSong® that be able t' detect musical information like chords in PDF files, savvy? These chords can then be transposed and formatted while also interactin' with 'em.

Currently, ChordFlow™ requires text-based PDF files and does not work with scanned images, matey. Once chords be discovered, th' font be matched and new chords be overlaid. This allows ye t' change how th' chords look and th' key o' th' final PDF document. For instance, th' PDF file may be in th' key o' G and start with that chord. If ye transpose th' song into th' key o' D, th' app will replace th' G-chord with a D-chord. Other changes also apply such as capo and chord styles like superscript, Arrr!

*ChordFlow™ requires that a key be known t' handle th' transposition o' chords. Ye may be prompted t' Enable Transposition in th' Chords Tab o' th' Style Preferences Menu. This will detect th' key o' th' song and add that information t' th' PDF file attachment. If a key cannot be found, ye can provide it manually through th' Attachments Menu. T' do this, tap and hold on th' PDF attachment t' open th' Context Menu and then choose Properties. This will open th' Edit Attachment Screen ye can set th' key.

Additionally, OnSong can change th' font color and highlight color o' th' font, Blimey! All o' these be added t' th' Chords tab in th' Style Preferences menu allowin' PDF files t' have similar functionality t' text-based chord charts. Since th' OnSong® app can convert other file types t' PDF files on-th'-fly, ye could be able t' customize chords on many other file types as well, ye scallywag!
